Necklace - c/o A Weathered Penny
The final part of our collaboration with A Weathered Penny is finally here! It has been so much fun and I seriously can't thank the lovely Kayleigh enough for the opportunity. This last necklace was the one we both found most difficult to style. We knew we wanted one outfit to be more dark and dangerous and the other to be more simple, girly and dainty. I had an idea of what I wanted to wear for Dainty in my head, but it took so long to find the ideal dress for it - as usual Zara saved the day!

The burgundy colour of the dress compliments the bronze of the necklace so well, so much so that I have now become obsessed with this colour combination and am planning on wearing this outfit so one of my Crimbo do's. The necklace itself is very well made and is the perfect addition to any outfit. It adds a nice bit of interest without completely taking over and that's what I look for when I'm trying to add jewellery for a party or a dinner out. The dark tone also works really well with an all black outfit and again is the perfect accessory to inject a bit more interest in to a simple outfit! The length of the necklace makes it ideal for pairing with more low cut tops and dresses, and we both decided to showcase that in our looks. I love that the necklace pendant is an arrowhead, something strong and dangerous, yet the size of it combined with the delicate chain makes it looks so girly and pretty. It's definitely the one to go for if you like to vary your style a lot. It works well with pretty dresses as well as more grungy outfits. If you want to add more drama, it looks great layered up with the other necklaces available. We both love how it looks paired with the bronze crescent moon. (post here) The colours are identical and the pendants look amazing together -with the same Tibetan type feel - almost as if they came as part of a set! I struggle to find necklaces that look good layered, so when the hard work is done for you like these two, it's just a no brainer.

A Weathered Penny offers a massive selection of affordable jewellery, vintage sunglasses and even a range of necklaces for children! They are definitely one of the best independent jewellery brands I've ever came across and it's been amazing to work with them. I've actually been eyeing up some more pieces that I want to nab when I next get paid so here's a little selection of our other favourites across the site:
